Notes of charred wood and warm spice lead into a round chocolatey cup. The mouthfeel is round and supple with a sweet lingering finish of resin and dried fruit.
This tea is hand-picked in the spring from the cultivar Ai Jiao Wu Long. The leaves are given a hard roll for about 12 minutes before being dried. They are then roasted over charcoal three times over the course of one year before being released for consumption.
