Mi Lan Xiang or ‘Honey Orchid Fragrance’ is a Dancong oolong produced in the mineral rich soil of Phoenix Mountain. This iteration crafted by Mr. Zhou is made from old growth bushes that have been growing for more than 100 years. The leaves are gently turned in order to form their shape and develop flavour before being roasted over charcoal three times. The resulting tea has a punchy floral honey aroma with natural sweetness, fruit undertones and an enduring flavour that lingers on the pallet.
Grippy floral acidity with notes of gardenia, chrysanthemum and subtle rose petal. Underlying notes of mineral give a roundness and structure that precede a dry and aromatic finish.
